Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia is a rheumatic autoimmune disorder that is regarded as a common cause of chronic musculoskeletal pain and fatigue. The current clinical definition of fibromyalgia is widespread musculoskeletal pain in all four quadrants of the body that has been present for at least three months, and tenderness at 11 out of 18 specific designated points on the body.
Magnesium supplementation has produced very good results in treating fibromyalgia. This may be due to the role of magnesium in production of cellular energy. Natural supplements like 5-HTP, magnesium and also high potency multivitamins and minerals help in addition to the normal treatment protocol.
