Rainforest Foods: Organic NZ Wheatgrass Powder

Wheatgrass powder is produced from the young leafy shoots of the wheat plant and is recognised for its concentration of micronutrients. 10kg of fresh leaves produces 1kg of our powder and unlike wheatgrass juice powder we preserve the fibre from the leaves, to produce a powder that is high in fibre. We source from an organic farm in New Zealand, where the wheatgrass grows in rich soil before being dried and milled to preserve the nutritional integrity of the plant. Wheatgrass is HIGH IN VITAMIN A contributing to the maintenance of normal skin and HIGH IN IRON which contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
